We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals that align with our clients’ needs and our organizational vision. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to secure opportunities that expand our impact, drive business development, and contribute to meaningful projects in UX design, digital transformation, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of high-quality, customized proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other client solicitations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, marketing, and project managers) to gather relevant information and create persuasive content.
- Research and analyze client needs, industry trends, and competitive insights to develop strategic and tailored responses.
- Maintain a proposal library of templates, case studies, and best practices to streamline the proposal development process.
- Ensure all proposals adhere to branding, messaging, and compliance requirements.
- Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Track proposal outcomes and provide insights to improve future submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field relevant to the work we do at Design Centered Co.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills in English (testing will be required).
- Proven experience in proposal writing, business development, or grant writing, preferably in UX design, digital transformation, or government services.
- Strong research and analytical skills to understand and address client needs effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace; experience with proposal management tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with design thinking, human-centered design, or UX principles is a strong asset.
